2. You MUST submit this application and make sure you meet the requirements to obtain a Confidential Marriage License BEFORE you make a deposit.

The Couple MUST have valid forms of ID (government-issued documents that are NOT expired) and ALL the required paperwork (listed below) to obtain a Confidential Marriage License. We can NOT accept photocopies, digital images, or paper renewals/extensions issued by the DMV. WE CAN NOT ISSUE A CONFIDENTIAL MARRIAGE LICENSE WITHOUT VALID IDs.
If either party has been married before, you need the EXACT date (month, day, and year) in which you became legally single. If the marriage ended 2 years ago or less, you also need the Judgement or a Certified copy of the Death Certificate. Documents MUST be original certified copies in English, or they must have a certified translation if the documents originate from a foreign country. WE CAN NOT ISSUE A CONFIDENTIAL MARRIAGE LICENSE WITHOUT THIS DOCUMENT (if applicable).
WE WILL NOT REFUND ANY PAYMENTS MADE IF WE ARE UNABLE TO ISSUE THE MARRIAGE LICENSE BECAUSE THE COUPLE DOESN’T MEET THE REQUIREMENTS TO OBTAIN A CONFIDENTIAL MARRIAGE LICENSE.
If you want to request a Certified Copy of your Marriage License by mail, you need to write a check or buy a money order for $17.00, payable to the Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk (or RRCC). YOU CAN NOT PAY THIS FEE IN CASH OR WITH A DEBIT/CREDIT CARD.
We do NOT allow flowers (other than the bouquet), decorations of ANY kind, or for your guests to throw rice after the ceremony. Food and drinks are also NOT allowed inside.
If you reserved a ceremony at the office (desk), NO GUESTS are allowed (including children).
The maximum number of guests allowed at the Chapel is 15. WE WILL NO BE ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE MORE THAN 15 PEOPLE *** NO EXCEPTIONS ***
WE DO NOT HAVE PUBLIC RESTROOMS OR CHANGING ROOMS AND THERE A NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS IN THE ENTIRE SHOPPING CENTER. It’s the responsibly of the couple to let their guests know, so they can plan accordingly.
If the wedding is scheduled for an outdoor location, and weather conditions pose difficulty to have a wedding outdoors (rain months in California typically are October through March), it is the responsibility of the bride and groom to find an alternative location for the wedding ceremony (if applicable). If the location changes, an extra fee may apply depending on the distance the Minister has to travel.
If the Wedding Venue charges parking, the fee must be covered by the Couple. If the fee is not paid in advance, the charge will be added to the balance (if any) and paid the day of the ceremony (if applicable).
If the wedding is delayed and the services of the Officiant are needed past the scheduled time, an additional pro-rated charge of $100.00 per hour will be applied to the balance (if any) and it MUST be paid the day of the ceremony. This charge will start to accumulate after a 15-minute grace period.
If you are more than 30 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment for another time and date and your deposit will be lost.
If the wedding time and/or the date are changed after remitting the deposit, our company will try to provide availability for a new time and date. However, if we don't have availability for that date and/or time, a different time and/or date shall be agreed upon by both parties. Yet, your deposit will be lost and another deposit of $100.00 will have to be submitted to lock the new date and/or time. EVEN if your appointment is cancelled or changed the same day it was scheduled.
In the event Officiant booked is unable to conduct the wedding ceremony due to personal matters or illness, our company will provide another Officiant to conduct the wedding ceremony.
If the appointment is cancelled by the Couple, or someone on behalf of the couple for ANY reason, the deposit and/or any payments made after won’t be returned *** NO EXCEPTIONS ***
If you pay your deposit with cash or via Zelle, the charge is $100. If you pay with card via PayPal, the deposit is $105 without the cash discount. The remaining balance will be due the day of your appointment. The prices below indicate the cost with the cash discount.
